The Elevation Game is a photographic tour of some of South Korea’s greatest locations for road cycling. Introducing and celebrating the country’s mountainous geography and natural beauty, the book visits the biggest, best, and most beautiful road cycling climbs across the peninsula from Seoul to Jeju Island. Each climb is presented both photographically and through detailed written descriptions that describe the unique aspects and experiences of each climb. Along with these descriptions are various additional notes, recommendations, and Korean cultural information.

미국인 사진작가이자 정신건강상담사, 교육 및 대학입시 상담가로 다양한 전문 분야에서 활동하고 있습니다. 그는 사이클링에 대한 깊은 사랑으로, 수많은 시간을 한국의 많은 산들과 시골 깊숙한 곳까지 한국의 방방곡곡을 페달을 밟으며 누비면서 한국을 사랑하게 되었습니다. 이러한 사랑에 힘입어 한국 자연의 아름다움과 로드사이클링 스포츠를 널리 알리기 위해 The Elevation Game을 집필하게 되었습니다.Aaron Smart has worked in various professional fields including photography, mental health counseling, education, and college entrance counseling. Through his love of cycling he has toured virtually every corner of the South Korean peninsula. During those thousands of hours spent pedaling over Korea’s many mountains and through its deepest countryside he fell in love with the country. It is this love that motivated him to compose The Elevation Game as a tribute to both South Korea’s natural beauty and the sport of road cycling.
