재미있게 읽고 쉽게 가르치는 Step Reading 시리즈. 영어 읽기를 처음으로 시작하는 아이들을 위한 독해 입문로, 파닉스 학습을 마친 기초 학습자가 간단한 스토리를 스스로 읽어낼 수 있는 수준에 이르도록 다양한 활동을 체계적으로 프로그램화 하였다.

레벨 A, B에서는 phonics words와 sight words가 포함된 기초 단어와 핵심 문장 패턴을 학습할 수 있도록 하며, Read aloud 연습을 통해 아이들이 직접 문장 하나하나를 읽어 낼 수 있도록 유도한다.

레벨 C, D에서는 주제별로 묶인 단어를 학습하여 아이들이 알고 있는 단어의 수를 확장시킨다. 마지막 단계인 레벨 E, F에서는 그래픽 오거나이저 활동을 통해 간단한 스토리를 읽고 스스로 이야기 구성을 정리해볼 수 있도록 훈련시킨다.
